June 6-7, 2013
On June 6-7, more than 350 owners of Cummins-powered diesel Ram trucks congregated at the Columbus Midrange Engine Plant (CMEP) to visit the home of the birthplace of the 6.7L Turbo Dieseleir iconic engines. April 5-7, 2013
The Academy of Country Music Experience enjoyed great success, following a venue change for 2013.
Gordinier Group professional drivers dusted off their cowboy boots and headed to the Orleans casino in Las Vegas to give consumers the ride of a lifetime in the new 2013 Ram 1500 trucks.
We had a mix of trim levels on hand – from the Express all the way to the pinnacle of luxury half-ton trucks – the Laramie Longhorn. The trucks were plenty capable as they were expertly piloted over a brand new, rigorous simulated off-road course (developed and built by the George P Johnson Company). The course offered a 12 foot, 30-degree mountain, roller demo, log pile, articulation ramp and 30-degree side hill.
The Ram Ride Experience and Raminator rides were a huge hit at the ACM Experience. Positioned at the entrance to an outdoor concert venue with top country acts, we had great exposure and an excellent level of participation.
Guests left the event well-informed and with a better understanding of what makes the 2013 Ram 1500 the Motor Trend “Truck of the Year”.
March 9-23, 2013
Gordinier Group teamed up with Ram Rodeo once again to activate a Ram test drive at the 2013 Rodeo Austin in Texas.
With the all-new 2013 Ram 1500 on hand, the off-road track was a very popular activity among rodeo goers.
GG coach riders rode along with guests, sharing their off-road driving expertise and extensive knowledge on the the makeup and driving dynamics of the 2013 Motor Trend “Truck of the Year”.
Despite poor weather and competition with SXSW in Austin, the 2013 rodeo and test drive experienced great attendance and is always a favorite for Gordinier Group team members.
December 12-15 2012
It was all hands on deck as Gordinier Group headed to Sin City in December to be a part of the National Finals Rodeo, sponsored by Ram Trucks.
The valet area of the MGM Grand (the largest casino in Las Vegas) was taken over by the Ram driving experience.
This creatively designed course featured 3 totally unique Ram expeiences:
1. Off-road course – Guests rode along in 2013 Ram 1500 or 2500 Power Wagons over I-beams, rollers, culverts, mobile mountain and an acceleration/braking lane.
2. Trailer Towing – Guests experienced the unmatched towing prowess of the Ram 3500 as it pulled either a goose-neck trailer (with 14,000 lb. Case/New Holland Puma tractor), or an outfitted, bumper-pull horse trailer (provided by NRS).
3. Payload – Guests rode in a 1500 or 2500 Ram, fitted with 1,000 lb. hay bale in the bed, as it deftly maneuvered through a slalom course.
Gordinier Group professional drivers handled the driving duties while providing NFR attendees with all of the Ram product information that they could handle. This is our audience, and these cowboys/girls are some of our favorite guests!
