The Gordinier Group Ram Truck Team saddled up at the MGM Grand Casino for the last weekend of the NFR.
Guests of the event were treated to a simulated off-road track built specifically for the full line of Ram trucks present at NFR. For the second year in a row, we were able to take over the MGM valet area, with GG pro drivers behind the wheel of a dozen of the hottest 2013/2014 Ram trucks.
The biggest news at the NFR was the introduction of the 2014 Motor Trend Truck of the Year: Ram 1500 EcoDiesel to the test ride track. This was our first chance to drive this revolutionary vehicle, as it has yet to be released to dealers. It was all hands on deck as Gordinier Group headed to Sin City in December to be a part of the National Finals Rodeo, sponsored by Ram Trucks.
The valet area of the MGM Grand (the largest casino in Las Vegas) was taken over by the Ram driving experience.
This creatively designed course featured 3 totally unique Ram expeiences:
1. Off-road course – Guests rode along in 2013 Ram 1500 or 2500 Power Wagons over I-beams, rollers, culverts, mobile mountain and an acceleration/braking lane.
2. Trailer Towing – Guests experienced the unmatched towing prowess of the Ram 3500 as it pulled either a goose-neck trailer (with 14,000 lb. Case/New Holland Puma tractor), or an outfitted, bumper-pull horse trailer (provided by NRS).
3. Payload – Guests rode in a 1500 or 2500 Ram, fitted with 1,000 lb. hay bale in the bed, as it deftly maneuvered through a slalom course.
Gordinier Group professional drivers handled the driving duties while providing NFR attendees with all of the Ram product information that they could handle. This is our audience, and these cowboys/girls are some of our favorite guests!
