Gordinier Group Builds First-Ever Floating Off-Road Course for the 2026 Jeep Cherokee Reveal

Gordinier Group was proud to take part in the design and execution of a one-of-a-kind off-road driving course for the U.S. media and consumer debut of the all-new

2026 Jeep Cherokee. Set against the stunning Manhattan skyline, this unique build took place on a barge spudded in the East River, directly off Domino Park in Brooklyn, NY.

To support Jeep’s high-impact launch, our team transformed the floating platform into a dynamic environment by shaping over 700 yards of dirt into a carefully engineered course that highlighted the Cherokee’s off-road capabilities. The course culminated in a purpose-built hill climb where the new vehicle perched centerstage during the CEO’s live presentation.

Beyond the course itself, our partners at George P. Johnson designed and installed dramatic visual elements, including oversized letters spelling out “JEEP” and “CHEROKEE”, a massive 25-foot-tall by 40-foot-wide LED screen, and extensive landscaping with over 40 live trees, all helped to elevate the impact of the reveal.

Gordinier Group handled every aspect of the off-road course—from material planning and heavy equipment operation to on-site supervision and a precision driver for the dynamic reveal. This was all tailored to deliver a safe and visually stunning activation. The result was a high-profile experience that seamlessly blended technical precision with theatrical impact, reinforcing Jeep’s legacy of capability in one of the most iconic urban settings in the world.

Camp Jeep returned to the 2025 Toronto Auto Show with an even bolder, more extreme course—solidifying its place as one of the show’s most talked-about attractions. This year’s course introduced new obstacles that pushed the limits of off-road excitement, giving fans a chance to experience the capability and control of Jeep vehicles in a dynamic and immersive way.

Precision drivers from Gordinier Group once again led the charge, expertly navigating guests through the expanded course filled with steep climbs, curved articulation wedges, and the kind of rugged terrain Jeep is built for. The experience wasn’t just about thrills—it gave thousands of attendees a real-world feel of Jeep’s legendary 4×4 performance. As one guest put it, “Camp Jeep is taking adventure to the next level!”

From adrenaline-seekers to families looking for a fun ride, Camp Jeep offered something for everyone. Social media buzzed with excitement, calling the activation a “great experience for the family” and “highly recommended.” With long lines and enthusiastic crowds throughout the show, the popularity of the attraction underscored Jeep’s unique blend of adventure, innovation, and community.

As the Auto Show wrapped up, one thing was clear—Jeep, alongside Gordinier Group, delivered an unforgettable off-road experience that set a new standard for what guests expect from interactive auto show exhibits.

Camp Jeep and Gordinier Group made a thrilling return to the 2025 Chicago Auto Show after taking a year off, drawing massive crowds eager to experience the beloved off-road activation. Attendees lined up for the opportunity to ride through a rugged course, skillfully navigated by Gordinier Group’s expert precision drivers. Over the course of the show, Camp Jeep gave rides to nearly 34,000 people, a testament to its enduring popularity. With the course’s signature steep hills, articulation features, and a full lineup of Jeep vehicles on display, the excitement was palpable.

Many guests expressed that Camp Jeep was their main reason for attending, noting its absence in 2024.

We only came because we heard Camp Jeep was back, one visitor shared.

From long-time Jeep fans to curious newcomers, riders were impressed by the capability and comfort of the vehicles. “The Grand Cherokee is luxurious and rugged at the same time,” said one guest, while another added, “The power in the 392 is what made me get in this long line, and it was worth it.”

The line moved efficiently, and the wait was filled with engaging displays, including concepts like the Lowdown with its eye-catching clear hood. Enthusiasts also appreciated the Jeep Gear store, adding an extra layer to the experience. “Jeep is more than a brand; it’s a way of life,” summed up one attendee. With its mix of adrenaline, innovation, and lifestyle appeal, Camp Jeep was once again a showstopper.

To wrap up 2020, Gordinier Group traveled to the Central Florida International Auto Show in Orlando, Florida.  While there, GG Drivers staffed the Camp Jeep event and gave enthusiastic show-goers an intense ride through the off-road experience as they continuously filled the vehicles for the entire 3-day event.
