For the 2024 LA Auto Show, Gordinier Group partnered with our friends at RAM Professional during the Automobility Media Day to allow journalists and industry insiders to test drive a selection of RAM ProMaster vans, including the highly anticipated new RAM ProMaster EV.

This hands-on experience provided a valuable opportunity for our guests to get behind the wheel of RAM’s latest models in a real-world setting, allowing them to evaluate performance, technology, and platform flexibility firsthand. As the automotive industry shifts toward electrification, the inclusion of the RAM ProMaster EV was a highlight, showcasing RAM’s commitment to innovation and sustainable fleet solutions.

Throughout the event, our team of expert product specialists rode along with the journalists to provide in-depth insights and answer any questions about the vehicles. Whether it was discussing the ProMaster’s impressive cargo capacity, handling dynamics, or the innovative features of the ProMaster EV, our team ensured that each participant had the information they needed to fully experience the capabilities of these vehicles.

Overall, the test drive event was a success, offering the media a comprehensive look at the RAM ProMaster family while fostering engaging discussions about the future of work vans and electric mobility.

At the 2024 LA Auto Show, the Gordinier Group played a crucial role in managing the logistics and safety elements of the EV Drive Experience for Nissan and Volkswagen (VW). This dynamic event provided attendees with the unique opportunity to experience cutting-edge electric vehicles from both brands in a controlled environment.

Once the track was laid out by our partners at George P. Johnson, our expert team ensured that every aspect of the event ran smoothly, from organizing vehicle movements on track to managing the seamless flow of participants.

With safety being a top priority throughout the event, the team implemented stringent protocols and oversight, including driver briefings, proper vehicle handling, and supervision of track activities. This attention to detail ensured both optimal vehicle presentation for our clients and a confident, worry-free EV Drive Experience for all participants.

Gordinier Group’s professional execution and collaborative approach made the event a resounding success by allowing Nissan and VW to effectively showcase their latest electric vehicles to an engaged audience within a safe and organized environment.

After a notable absence from last year’s LA Auto Show, Camp Jeep made a triumphant return as thousands of automotive enthusiasts experienced the legendary capability of Jeep vehicles firsthand. Gordinier Group’s precision drivers guided nearly 30,000 attendees through an engineered off-road course demonstrating a range of Trail Rated features that define the Jeep lineup.

Gordinier Group’s Team provided expert commentary throughout each run, educating riders about specific Trail Rated capabilities being showcased at each obstacle. From the ground clearance displayed during stair crawling segments to the maneuverability exhibited in tight, banked turns, the course highlighted the engineering that makes Jeep vehicles capable of conquering extreme terrain.

The dynamic course, designed and built by our partners at George P Johnson, challenged vehicles and thrilled passengers with a series of purpose-built obstacles. Participants experienced impressive articulation and traction control systems as Jeeps navigated steep grades and uneven terrain. Making its debut in LA, the new 28-foot tall Jeep Mountain with a 40-degree incline/decline tested each vehicle’s climbing ability and hill descent control, while the off-camber bridge showcased suspension and ground clearance.

The immersive Camp Jeep experience coupled with our elite team of drivers gave Auto Show attendees a deeper appreciation for Jeep’s off-road heritage and innovative technology. For many participants, the adrenaline-pumping ride marked their first time experiencing the full potential of a Jeep vehicle’s capabilities in a controlled yet exciting environment.

In the past, we typically setup outside the auto show in Miami. While this approach provided an outdoor experience for our guests, it made us vulnerable to inclement weather, which could close the course for extended periods. This year, our partners at Jeep and George P. Johnson (GPJ) decided to move the event indoors, and the results were fantastic.

GPJ arrived early to set up the engineered obstacles that have made Camp Jeep famous nationwide. Once everything was complete and a large fleet of Jeep vehicles arrived on-site, our team of precision drivers began honing their skills around the course in preparation for the auto show enthusiasts who would soon flock to the convention center.

And flock they did! Throughout the 11-day show, guests lined up patiently for their turn. The impact Camp Jeep has on our visitors never ceases to amaze us. Here are just a few quotes from our guests:

“I’m glad Jeep came back to the show; we only came because we saw you guys on the news.”

“I’ve bought two Jeeps because of this track. My first was a 2019 Wrangler, and I just got a 2024 Wrangler!”

“This is the most impressive display at the auto show! We came here just to take a ride in a 4xe.”

“If this doesn’t make you want to buy a Jeep, I don’t know what will! Jeep always has the best displays.”

As the team packed up to leave at the end of the show, it was clear that it had been a job well done. Thanks to strong teamwork and seamless event logistics, nearly 20,000 people experienced the incredible capabilities of Jeep vehicles.  Thank you, Miami!
