Off-Road Course Construction
Playing in the Dirt at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Our team supported Nissan at Las Vegas Motor Speedway by designing and building a purpose-built off-road course for a media drive featuring the 2026 Frontier PRO 4X and PRO 4X Roush Edition. The goal of the activation was to give journalists a controlled environment where they could experience the capability of the vehicles while navigating true off-road obstacles.
We created a technical course layout that included extreme articulation wedges, deep moguls, reverse off-camber banked turns, and uneven terrain designed to highlight traction, approach and departure challenges. Our crew handled all site preparation, the course build, equipment management, and on-site safety.
Throughout the drive, our spotters were positioned at every key obstacle to provide guidance, hand signals, and clear communication. Their support helped each journalist understand the intended driving line while maintaining a safe and steady flow of vehicles through the course.
The result was a smooth and well-organized program that allowed Nissan’s media guests to focus on the driving experience while we managed the operational, safety, and terrain-based details behind the scenes.
Rivian’s Electric Joyride experience brought off-road excitement to downtown Chicago, and Gordinier Group took center stage in making it happen. Tasked with designing and constructing an authentic off-road environment in the middle of the city, the Gordinier team transformed Pioneer Court into a dramatic, full-scale driving course.
Built from roughly 2,400 cubic yards of recycled asphalt, the custom course featured five distinct obstacles that challenged both vehicle and driver. From steep climbs and banked turns to an 18-foot hill that towered over the plaza, every element was engineered to highlight Rivian’s capability and control.
Gordinier Group’s precision build delivered not just function, but spectacle—turning a busy urban setting into an electric adventure zone that captivated onlookers and participants alike. The seamless design, expert execution, and safety-focused operation allowed Rivian to showcase its vehicles’ power, traction, and innovation in a setting few could imagine.
The result was a high-impact activation that proved electric can be both capable and thrilling, and once again demonstrated Gordinier Group’s ability to build world-class off-road courses in any environment.
For the 2025 Oklahoma State Fair in Oklahoma City, Gordinier Group once again partnered with RAM Trucks to bring two high-impact activations to life: the RAM Truck Territory off-road course and the RAM display area.
Our team arrived early to build a dynamic test track that allowed guests to experience the true performance and capability of RAM trucks. Our precision drivers doubled as mobile product specialists providing guests with detailed vehicle information and an immersive off-road experience. Thousands of attendees took the ride, calling it one of the fair’s most exciting and memorable attractions.
In the nearby static display, our product specialists introduced fairgoers to two standouts from the RAM lineup—the 1500 Limited Night Edition and the 3500 Longhorn Dually. Guests were impressed by the blend of luxury, utility, and craftsmanship these models showcased, often commenting on the attention to detail and spacious interiors.
Across the 11-day fair, Gordinier Group’s professional staff delivered thousands of brand interactions and ride experiences that connected with current and future RAM truck owners alike. The result was another successful partnership that strengthened RAM’s presence in the heart of truck country.
For the 124th annual Colorado State Fair in Pueblo, Gordinier Group once again partnered with RAM Trucks and George P. Johnson to bring the RAM Truck Territory experience to life. Returning for another successful year, our team managed every aspect of the activation, from concept and course construction to operations and guest engagement.
The off-road course combined natural and engineered terrain that showcased RAM’s off-road performance in real-world conditions. Built in collaboration with our Dirt Designs Offroad crew, it featured articulation wedges, log crossings, moguls, and a steep climb and descent of the iconic RAM Mountain. Each feature was shaped to demonstrate capability, traction, and control across the RAM lineup.
Our precision drivers completed more than 4,000 laps over the 11-day event, giving nearly 10,000 guests an unforgettable ride experience. The excitement was reflected in guest reactions throughout the fair.
One attendee shared, “This ride was the best advertisement ever!”
Another said, “We were comparing trucks but now we’re certainly buying a RAM 1500 this week.”
In the nearby static display, Gordinier Group’s product specialists provided detailed walk-arounds of the RAM 1500 and RAM 3500 Limited, highlighting the craftsmanship, technology, and spacious interiors that drew repeated praise from fairgoers.
Once again, the Gordinier Group team delivered a professional, high-impact brand experience that connected directly with RAM owners and future buyers, strengthening the brand’s presence throughout Colorado and beyond.
