Jeep Gladiator

As our team put the final touches on the Camp Jeep course outside the main entrance of Javits Center, the excitement began to set in. This year we celebrated our 20th anniversary of sharing the Camp Jeep Experience with the guests of the New York International Auto Show.

We’ve had 20 years of thrill rides along 11th Ave on the west side of Manhattan. 20 years of being exposed to the elements. This year was no different. Wind, rain, sleet, you name it. The team adapted and continued to provide a memorable experience for our guests.

Little did we know Mother Nature had an anniversary surprise for us. At 10:20 AM on April 5th, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake struck the NYC region. It was the largest seen in the last century but resulted in no damage and everyone remained safe.

Despite the challenges posed, some unprecedented, Gordinier Group delivered some impressive metrics for the show.

  • Over 31,000 passengers
  • Over 12,000 safe laps of a challenging course
  • Countless smiles

And to quote some of our guests:

  • “I missed the Jeep track at the Philly Auto show, so I made my way to NY when I saw that Jeep was here. This track has become an annual thing for our family, and we are so happy we were able to do it this year.”
  • “Thank you for being the best thing at the auto show again and again, no one has topped this ride yet.”
  • “Glad to see Jeep at the show this year, I bought my 2023 Gladiator last year after riding on this track.”
  • “We love the vibe at Jeep. Always a great time.”

We can’t wait to see what the next 20 years have in store! Thank you, NYC!

For the second year in a row, our Camp Jeep Team was invited to Toronto to reconnect with our fans up North. And boy did they show up ready to rock!

With the Camp Jeep stage set and the vehicles warmed up, it was time for the show. Each day, enthusiastic Jeep fans flocked to the Camp Jeep experience and were not disappointed. We saw so many smiling faces, both young and old. A few of them offered some quotes we just had to share!

  • “Jeep out did themselves again this year. This is the best way to promote a vehicle.”
  • “The line was definitely worth the wait. Hands down the best part of the auto show!”
  • “So, where’s the closest dealership? I need to buy this Wrangler 4xe today!”

In the end, we were lucky enough to spend time with over 30,000 passengers on the Camp Jeep stage and absolutely crushed our pre-show attendance goals. The Jeep brand is incredibly strong in Canada, and we cannot wait to come back in 2025!

Jeep and the Gordinier Group off-road team were back in Daytona for another Jeep Beach adventure.  Our team starts early in the week to design and build the Jeep off-road course that attendees have grown to love year and year.  Each year the design is a little different to give each Jeep lover the thrill ride they are looking for with steep inclines/declines, log craws, moguls and vertical wedges to keep them on the edge of their seat.

“It’s a lot like a roller coaster” – said one smiling Jeepster

Jeep Beach has become a staple in Daytona with thousands of Jeep enthusiast flacking to the city each year and 2023 was no different!

Camp Jeep travels to Canada!

Stellantis and the Canadian International Auto Show collaborated to add Camp Jeep to the floorplan this year for the first time!  This addition proved to be a good choice as attendance broke records at over 350,000 visitors at the Metro Toronto Convention Center and the interactive ride was a huge attraction.  Gordinier Group Drivers and Product Specialists were there to surprise the masses for the debut of Camp Jeep. Attendees were amazed by the obstacles and how the Jeeps can maneuver through the 4×4 challenge.  As Camp Jeep has proven over the years, there is no better way to show consumers firsthand how capable these vehicles are.  GG drivers love bringing that talent to a new market with a variety of Jeeps on course including the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe and 392, the Gladiator, the Grand Cherokee and Compass Trailhawks, as well as the Grand Cherokee L with the 3 row seat.  The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer also made the trip to showcase the Full-Size SUV aspects in the Jeep lineup.
