Oklahoma State Fair

RAM Truck Territory headed outdoors to the Oklahoma State Fair in Oklahoma City.  RAM trucks are always a fan favorite at the state fair.  Dirt Designs designed and built the off-road track to fully demonstrate the specifications of the RAM 1500 and 2500 on course.  The show runs for 11 days and draws in close to a million attendees each year.  RAM picked the right event to showcase the capabilities of their pride and joy.  With 8 vehicles on the off-road course, Gordinier Group Drivers were able to conquer the through-put demands.  There were also 3 trucks on display with GG Product Specialists there to answer questions and deliver the key components of the trucks.  With all the bases covered, we had a great event for 2022.

Another successful Ram summer ride and drive series has sadly come to an end. The 2015 rodeo and farm show tours saw the best weather and more importantly, the best crowds that we have experienced to date.

This year, both tours saw the addition of the 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, which was a great addition to the drive fleet! Guests were amazed by the torque, lack of typical diesel noise, and the amazing fuel economy (up to 29 mpg).

As the Ram Trucks brand continues to build momentum and win market share, we continue to see (and welcome) increased interest and participation in the ride and drive events.

Hats off to Ram on another great season!

The Ram Rodeo Test ride Series provides excellent exposure for the brand. Unlike the farm show circuit, these fairs are 10-12 days long and feature top country music acts, pro rodeo and bull riding events, carnivals, and other attractions that help to bring scads of people through the gates.

At these shows Gordinier Group/Dirt Designs has the opportunity to design and build organic off-road courses that feature, logs, rock piles, axle articulation rollers, dirt mountains, and as many other obstacles that we can pack into our footprint. While the simulated off-road courses provide an excellent medium to provide a consistent experience, we always jump at the chance to get on the heavy equipment and move some dirt around.

All 3 fairs brought us great weather and provided us a truly enormous amount of people to show off the 2014 Ram 1500 to. We really racked up the rides at these shows and were able to make a ton of positive impressions. This is easy to do when you are you are promoting the Motor Trend “Truck of the Year”, winner (for the last 2 years, thank you very much).

September 13-23, 2012

This evening will wrap up the 106th annual Oklahoma State Fair at the State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. The event boasts a 435 acre landscape, a Space Needle standing 330 feet tall, over 30,000 livestock ribbons awarded and just about anything you can think of fried on a stick. Tim O’Toole, the fair’s chief executive officer, expressed, “Each year brings a new chapter in weighing tradition and pop culture.” This year that included the Ram Rodeo Series as well as the Ram Test Track, and the Gordinier Group professional drivers were thrilled to be part of the occasion.

The 2012 Ram Truck Brand line up appealed to fair attendees seeking an exciting ride, as the Ram Test Track allowed them to test 1500, 2500 and 3500 models on off-roading obstacles demonstrating Stability, Ground Clearance, Suspension, Articulation and Traction. Ram Track guests were offered a $10 gift card or the option to donate the amount to a Ram Rodeo Series charity.
