After winning the Motor Trend “Truck of the Year” award for the second consecutive year (for the 2014 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel), Ram trucks has upped the ante on their experiential marketing efforts. By adding additional indoor auto sh0ow tracks as well as adding outdoor shows, Ram is working hard to spread the news about how great their product is.
Gordinier Group is fortunate and proud to be on the front line of that push, as our drivers are the conduit between the brand and the consumers.
We are looking forward to our next Ram event next week at the American Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.
April 5-7, 2013
The Academy of Country Music Experience enjoyed great success, following a venue change for 2013.
Gordinier Group professional drivers dusted off their cowboy boots and headed to the Orleans casino in Las Vegas to give consumers the ride of a lifetime in the new 2013 Ram 1500 trucks.
We had a mix of trim levels on hand – from the Express all the way to the pinnacle of luxury half-ton trucks – the Laramie Longhorn. The trucks were plenty capable as they were expertly piloted over a brand new, rigorous simulated off-road course (developed and built by the George P Johnson Company). The course offered a 12 foot, 30-degree mountain, roller demo, log pile, articulation ramp and 30-degree side hill.
The Ram Ride Experience and Raminator rides were a huge hit at the ACM Experience. Positioned at the entrance to an outdoor concert venue with top country acts, we had great exposure and an excellent level of participation.
Guests left the event well-informed and with a better understanding of what makes the 2013 Ram 1500 the Motor Trend “Truck of the Year”.

This evening will wrap up the 106th annual Oklahoma State Fair at the State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. The event boasts a 435 acre landscape, a Space Needle standing 330 feet tall, over 30,000 livestock ribbons awarded and just about anything you can think of fried on a stick. Tim O’Toole, the fair’s chief executive officer, expressed, “Each year brings a new chapter in weighing tradition and pop culture.” This year that included the Ram Rodeo Series as well as the Ram Test Track, and the Gordinier Group professional drivers were thrilled to be part of the occasion.
The 2012 Ram Truck Brand line up appealed to fair attendees seeking an exciting ride, as the Ram Test Track allowed them to test 1500, 2500 and 3500 models on off-roading obstacles demonstrating Stability, Ground Clearance, Suspension, Articulation and Traction. Ram Track guests were offered a $10 gift card or the option to donate the amount to a Ram Rodeo Series charity.

September 11-13, 2012
Every September since 1978 the World’s Largest Totally Irrigated Working Farm Show™ spans 1000 acres of former U.S. Army land just west of Grand Island, Nebraska. Husker Harvest Days showcases the latest technologies covering farm equipment, agriculture products and advanced cropping methods. With nearly 600 vendors, it could take several days for event guests to see all of the impressive, state-of-the art demonstrations.
This was the second year that the Gordinier Group took to the corn fields with the Ram Truck Ride and Drive Experience, presenting the Ram Brand’s cutting-edge capabilities. Attendees were able to test drive the 2012 Ram vehicle line-up (including the 1500 Outdoorsman “Mossy Oak Edition” and the 2500 Power Wagon) over a demanding off-road driving course. Gordinier Group product specialists demonstrated the trucks’ superior handling over strenuous articulation, suspension, body strength and stability obstacles. Check out some photos below of the Gordinier Group crew connecting both huskers and farmers from all over the nation with the truck that’s going to get their job done.
