Located south of Detroit Metro Airport in Belleville, MI, the 2013 Great Lakes Boy Scout Rendezvous took place in Willow Metropark in September. More than 6,000 Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and their families spent the weekend inside the park, camping and participating in the many outdoor activities hosted at the event.

Jeep offered event guests the opportunity to experience the 2013 vehicle lineup while riding through the picturesque park on an exciting off-road trail. Eight vehicles were used, consisting of a mix of Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Compass and Patriot vehicles. Rides were given by Gordinier Group trained off-road drivers, who provided detailed product information during the ride.

Guests were super excited to be able to experience/drive the newest Jeep, several months before they hit the showroom floor. Likewise, GG drivers were dying to get behind the wheel and be able to put the Cherokee through its paces.First impression highlights were the smooth shifting 9-speed transmission, electronic locking rear axle, and 8.6” of ground clearance. Many guests commented that they really like the aesthetics, ergonomics and interior styling as well. Overall, the response to the Cherokee was very positive. With the exception of a few original Cherokee owners (who mostly just wanted a different name for the new vehicle), people were really digging the new Cherokee.

Gordinier Group Pro Drivers visited the ‘Great White North’ to activate a Ram Test Drive at the Ponoka Stampede.
Located between Calgary and Edmonton , the 77th Annual Ponoka Stampede drew over 65,000 spectators and is the largest week-long Pro Rodeo in Canada.

Dallas, Wisconsin was the host town (population 256) of this year’s Wisconsin Farm Tech Days, sponsored by Ram. This annual farm show migrates through a different county in Wisconsin each summer and is attended by mostly local farmers and their families. Don’t be fooled by the description – this is a huge event, and right in Ram Truck’s demographic.
