Dallas, Wisconsin was the host town (population 256) of this year’s Wisconsin Farm Tech Days, sponsored by Ram. This annual farm show migrates through a different county in Wisconsin each summer and is attended by mostly local farmers and their families. Don’t be fooled by the description – this is a huge event, and right in Ram Truck’s demographic.

King of tow!
After a brief but severe thunderstorm on opening morning, the queue at the Ram track held a line for the entire three days. With the combination of the eager crowd and the legit GPJ off-road properties, this event was a big hit!

Gordinier Group Pro Drivers manned the drivers’ seats, maneuvering the vehicles over the tricky obstacles. New this year was a towing and payload track, surrounding the off-road track.Consumers lined up to take a ride in the 3500 Longhorn Dually which was fitted to a gooseneck trailer holding a Ram 1500 Big Horn. Though the rig didn’t come close to the maximum towing capacity of the High Output 1-ton (30,000 lbs!), it gave guests a feel for how it feels to tow with this monster! With 850 ft lbs of torque and the new Aisin 6-speed transmission, it is easy to forget that you have a trailer

Despite the fact that there were many other ride & drive activities (tractors, competitive light trucks, skid steers) at Wisconsin Farm Tech, the Ram tracks were the undisputed hit of the show, with far greater participation than neighboring R&Ds.
