Overlanding
Gordinier Group recently partnered with Nissan to develop, plan, and execute an immersive four-day, three-night media drive experience showcasing the capability of the Frontier PRO-4X and Armada PRO-4X in the environments they were built to explore.
Starting and ending in Flagstaff, Arizona, the adventure took invited automotive and overlanding media through some of the most scenic landscapes in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. Gordinier Group designed a custom route combining highway driving, remote overland trails, and challenging off-road sections that allowed participants to experience the real-world capability, comfort, and technology of Nissan’s PRO-4X lineup.
The journey also served as the backdrop for the reveal of the 2026 Overland Expo Ultimate Overland Build, featuring a fully outfitted Nissan Frontier PRO-4X as the foundation for the adventure-ready concept.
Beyond route development and trail execution, Gordinier Group provided full-service event management from initial planning through final execution. Our team coordinated lodging, food and beverage, airport transfers, vehicle logistics, route operations, and on-trail support to create a seamless experience for guests and Nissan stakeholders.
From navigating remote desert terrain to managing the countless details behind the scenes, Gordinier Group delivered an authentic adventure that showcased the vehicles’ capabilities while allowing attendees to experience the spirit of exploration that defines the PRO-4X brand.
Our Dirt Designs crew rolled into Loveland, CO with all the heavy equipment needed to build a challenging off-road course for our partners at RAM. The materials needed to build the course consisted of rocks, logs, and dirt…a lot of dirt!
After a three-day build, the course was ready, and our team of talented drivers coached guests from the Overlanding community as they drove through a variety of challenging obstacles.
These obstacles included:
- Articulation Moguls
- Boulder Field
- Log crossings
- Alternating off-camber dirt wedges
- Steep hill climb and descent
As our guests took the wheel in a variety of RAM trucks, they experienced first-hand how easily these vehicles can conquer terrain that one may encounter on any overlanding trip. It was a great weekend for all.
Creating unique driving environments to showcase the inherent capabilities of a vehicle is what we do, and we love it!
Gordinier Group was able to join the Overland Expo Mountain West event this year in Loveland, Colorado for the 3-day extravaganza. Over 17,000 enthusiasts gathered from all over the world to partake in all things Overlanding with demos, instructors, seminars and plenty of activities.
Gordinier Group staff teamed up with RAM Truck to showcase the overlanding capabilities of the RAM Rebel and Power Wagon. Guests were able to drive the RAM trucks while GG Product Specialists highlighted the full range of off-road features. The crowd was soaking it up.
